Swing Gates
The swing gates we provide will naturally need solid supports to hang from, that can support the weight when in motion. Usually they can be supported by brick piers at both sides of your opening / driveway. These will need to be surveyed, and checked for stability, to ensure that they’re up to the job, which will need to be checked for their stability by your surveyor before any gates can be hung. If you do not have existing piers they can be built but we advise that a steel rod is placed in the centre of the brick piers for extra support. This will prolong their life and improve the motion of your gates. We can advise and liaise with your building contractors if appropriate. Alternatively we can install steel posts to match your gates and these are often a more cost-effective solution.

Sliding Gates
All of the sliding gates that we fabricate are made from the finest materials we can source. These gates are great for preserving space as they do not require the opening swing-clearance that a traditional gate needs. The gates we create and supply are powered by one motor so costs are kept to a minimum.
When you are considering sliding gates you need to check you have the required space for the width of the opening plus one metre for the gate to fully slide open. They are then fitted to runners and tracks which can sit on top of your driveway no matter what it is made from including tarmac, bricks and block paving. There is also the option of a hidden track built into the ground which is perfect for newly fitted driveway projects. If you do not want a track the cost increases as a larger post foundation is required to hold the gate.
